Bharathidasan University - An Overview

Bharathidasan University is a university in the city of Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu state, India. It has almost 200 affiliated colleges in several different districts of the state, including Nagapattinam, Perambalur, Pudukkottai, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Tiruchirapalli. It is a recognised university, supported by the University Grants Commission of India. All major faculties of science and arts are represented.

The institute, since its inception, has been offering quality programs in varied field of higher education with special emphasis on medical sciences. The uniquely designed special programmes offered by the Institute have already placed it on par with some of its counterparts, both at home and aboard.
