Physiotherapy Education

Physiotherapy (or Physical Therapy) is one of the fastest-growing allied areas of medicine practiced in India. The state like Tamil Nadu has its own importance in this field whenever training and academic programs are concerned. The system of treatment includes various physical exercises and massaging, medication etc.

Tamil Nadu is among the few Indian states where there are quite good numbers of Physiotherapy colleges are found. Students from different parts of the country come here for pursuing courses in physiotherapy. The state has some more than 40 Physiotherapy colleges which are affiliated to various universities. The colleges offer BPT and MPT courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level respectively.
