Nursing Education

Nursing is regarded as a noble profession and can be defined as a science and an art that focuses on promoting quality of life. The service of a nurse is quite essential for patients in every steps of their treatment.

Tamil Nadu is among the few Indian states where quite good numbers of nursing colleges are located. The state has some more than 40 nursing colleges which are affiliated to various universities. The colleges offer Basic Nursing, GNM and B.Sc Nursing courses.
